GENOCIDE JASMINE

Rep. Jasmine Crockett voted to send billions in weapons to Israel while Gaza burned. She took an AIPAC-sponsored trip. She refuses to say the word genocide. She wants your vote for U.S. Senate.

While This Was Happening

Since October 2023, Israel has killed tens of thousands of Palestinians in Gaza. The majority were women and children. Crockett herself acknowledged this in her own ceasefire statement. Nearly the entire population of Gaza has been displaced. That's the context for every vote she cast.

Your representative voted to keep the weapons flowing.

The "No" Vote She Points To
Republican supplemental, Israel aid only
NO
  • Her reason?
  • Not anti-Israel. "Partisan" & cut IRS funding.
  • Her office called it "fiscally irresponsible"
She opposed the structure, not the principle of arming Israel

The AIPAC Connection

Crockett keeps saying she hasn't taken "direct AIPAC PAC money." OK. But she took an all-expenses-paid trip to Israel funded by AIEF, which is AIPAC's educational nonprofit arm. She came back and started voting to send billions in weapons.

August 2023
AIEF-Sponsored Trip to Israel
Crockett traveled to Israel on a delegation funded by the American Israel Education Foundation, AIPAC's educational nonprofit. She later said she went to verify U.S. funds for Iron Dome were "actually there."
October 7, 2023
October 7 Attacks; Israel Launches "Operation Swords of Iron"
Israel begins a massive military campaign in Gaza that will kill tens of thousands of Palestinian civilians over the following months.
November 2023
Votes No on GOP Israel-Only Bill
Opposes the bill's structure, not its principle. Her office calls it "partisan" and "fiscally irresponsible". Not morally wrong. Fiscally irresponsible.
April 20, 2024
Votes YES on H.R. 8034
Votes for the Israel Security Supplemental. Billions in funding for Iron Dome, David's Sling, Iron Beam, advanced weapons systems, and Foreign Military Financing. Passes 366–58.
May 2024
Signs Letter to Biden on Weapons
Joins other Democrats signing a letter asking Biden to reassess offensive weapons transfers to Israel. She later points to this as evidence of her nuance.
2025–2026
Votes YES on H.R. 7006
Votes for the omnibus that includes additional military aid to Israel and cuts UNRWA funding. She says 96% went elsewhere. The other 4% armed a genocide.

The bottom line on AIPAC: Whether or not a direct check was written, Crockett took an AIPAC-affiliated trip, voted for billions in military aid, and delivered the outcomes AIPAC lobbies for. A NewsOne analysis put it this way: her support reflects "ideological and institutional alignment" rather than a simple transaction. That might be worse, because it means she does this for free.

I will not use your tax dollars to fund these war crimes. I refuse to be complicit in the death and destruction in Gaza.

— James Talarico, Houston Town Hall, 2025 (source)

What She Said vs. What She Did

Crockett has a rehearsed line for every interview. She talks about caring for people on both sides. Then she votes to arm one of them.

What she said
"I have never stood out against Iron Dome, and the funding that we have signed onto was for defensive arms."
What she voted for
H.R. 8034 funded far more than Iron Dome: advanced weapons systems, David's Sling missiles, Iron Beam lasers, and Foreign Military Financing. The full arsenal.
What she said
"Roughly 96 percent of the funding in H.R. 7006 went to other purposes."
The reality
The other 4% included additional military aid to Israel and cuts to UNRWA, the UN agency providing food, water, and shelter to Palestinian refugees. She voted to defund the people being bombed with weapons from her other votes.
What she said
"There is a clear, concerted effort to distort my record on Israel."
theGrio, Dec 2025
The reality
Her votes are public record in the Congressional Record. H.R. 8034: YES. H.R. 7006: YES. AIEF trip: documented. Nobody is distorting anything.
Congressional Record

Despite tens of thousands dead, mass displacement, and the destruction of Gaza, Crockett has never used these words in any public statement or interview.

There Is Another Choice

You have another option in this primary. James Talarico is running for the same seat. His platform on Palestine is the opposite of Crockett's.

Crockett
U.S. Representative, TX-30
On Gaza
Expresses "concern" for civilians but frames Israel's campaign as a conflict with two sides. Won't say genocide.
On Weapons
Voted YES on H.R. 8034 and H.R. 7006. Signed a letter asking Biden to "reassess" weapons, then kept voting to send them.
On AIPAC
Says no direct AIPAC PAC money. Took AIEF trip (AIPAC's educational arm). Delivers the votes AIPAC lobbies for.
On Aid
Supports continued military aid. Defends Iron Dome, David's Sling, and the full U.S.–Israel security relationship.
On UNRWA
Voted for H.R. 7006 which cut/blocked UNRWA funding for Palestinian refugees.
Talarico
Texas State Rep, HD-50 • Senate Candidate
On Gaza
Calls it "atrocities in Palestine" and "war crimes." Describes Gaza as "the moral test of our time."
On Weapons
Pledged to ban offensive weapons to Israel. "I will not use your tax dollars to fund these war crimes."
On AIPAC
Public critic of AIPAC's influence. Pledged to reject AIPAC money and contributions from advocacy groups on either side.
On Aid
Supports conditioning U.S. aid. Would block offensive weapons while preserving defensive systems like Iron Dome.
On the Moment
"I refuse to be complicit in the death and destruction in Gaza." Frames it as a moral and spiritual emergency.

Full disclosure: Talarico voted for a pro-Israel Texas House resolution (HR 10) right after October 7 that affirmed Israel's right to "act decisively in self-defense." His position shifted after that as the scale of civilian death became clear. We include this because transparency matters.
